Welcome to Strings By Sarah!
I'm Sarah Bertsch, violinist and founder of Strings By Sarah. Whether playing as a soloist or collaborating with my fabulous colleagues, I love to create beautiful music that highlights moods of elegance, romance, joy and celebration!
I've had the privilege of providing professional music for special occasions for over fifteen years and I would be thrilled to be a part of your event. My years of experience and artistic expertise ensure that you will be very pleased with the addition of Strings By Sarah to your celebration!
My colleagues are highly skilled professional players (plus, they're just great people!) and I'm honored to work with them. These folks include widely respected teachers and performers from renowned groups such as Lyra and the Minnesota Orchestra. We greatly enjoy playing together and sharing music is what makes us "tick"!
My own formal training includes degrees from St. Olaf College and St. John's University. I currently teach private violin lessons at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI and enjoy a variety of freelance opportunities in and around the Twin Cities. I'm an avid wildlife enthusiast and enjoy volunteering at The Raptor Center and Carpenter Nature Center. I am so grateful for the rich diversity of experiences in my life because of--and increased by--the work and rewards of music!
